User access refers to the access, otherwise called tools, permissions, or user rights, a user has on the community wiki.

Obtaining Permissions

Any wiki user may request access to any tool, though users wanting any permission listed under Unique Tools will be required to meet the criteria in the relevant column. This is done by approaching any wiki administrator and asking for it. If the wiki administrator feels the user will make use of the tool properly, they will assign and train the person on its use.

Unique Tools

The following tools are only given to users who meet certain criteria off-wiki.

Tool Name What It Does Who Gets It
Clerk The ability to edit all levels of page protection. Clerks
Management Grants access to the
Manage:
namespace. Management staff.
Management Creator Grants access to both see and edit the
Manage:
namespace. Trained management staff.
Secret Clearance Grants access to the
Secret:
namespace. Administrators authorized by leadership.
Wiki Administrator Grants miscellaneous tools that either a) aren't suitable to be given their own permission group and/or b) allow wiki-platform manipulation. The wiki director and sufficiently interested leadership staff.
