2024 Kelpy G allegations

On March 27, 2024 Cookie posted a link to a Google Doc in #announcements as a response to claims made by Kelpy G. The specific allegations which initially inspired the document's creation are not contained in the document. There are sections near the bottom of the document that allegedly exist to respond to a counter-document made by Kelpy G. The counter-document is not provided.

The document begins by alleging that in 2020 members Techstar, 17, and Judge_Red[a], early 20s, were in a romantic relationship. It goes on to explain that both members live in New York City with it being claimed that the relationship is legal within it's jurisdiction. Then, in 2022, Judge_Red applies to be a Discord moderator which the appropriate authorities accept. The document then alleges that following Judge_Red's acceptance Kelpy G requested an investigation into Judge_Red for having groomed them, allegedly at the time also 17, while Judge_Red was still in a relationship with Techstar. The document goes on to say that Judge_Red had been "firing/Demoted [sic]" according to an administration pre-dating Cookie due to the moral complications of their relationship with Techstar. The resultant investigation determined the report was inconclusive, with the desired remedy of Judge_Red's termination being rejected on that basis, along with the previous demotion being seen as an adequate remedy. Cookie alleges to not have fully agreed with this outcome, but stated that their romantic partner Oriimo had full control and access to all his accounts, which Cookie characterizes as them having been incapable of doing anything aside from what they wanted. The document goes on to say that eventually Judge_Red was removed from staff, but retained access to a management-only Discord to act as a "Knowledge Archive" for documents that may still unknowingly be in their possession, along with events from 2018-2019 as Cookie's recollection of that time was "very cloudy". Judge_Red is alleged to have had no real-time access to management communications.

Kelpy G is alleged to not have known about Judge_Red's access to the management-only Discord until 2023, which upset them, with Kelpy G then sending what the document characterizes as hard-proof of the alleged grooming behavior when a document sent in 2022 was found insufficient due to screenshots not being attached. According to the document, because the new evidence was submitted after Cookie had successfully cut ties with Oriimo and had full control over all of his accounts, the new result was that Judge_Red was removed from the community.

Judge_Red was then to have alleged to file a defamation suit against Cookie for claiming they partook in grooming behavior despite the behavior occurring in a state which made the relationships legal. The document goes on to say that Cookie was unwilling to take that risk, even if the suit would not have had any bearing, as allegedly Judge_Red is a practicing attorney in New York City and had significantly more wealth than Cookie who had entered debt from personal issues. This was then resolved when Judge_Red willingly agreed to dissociate from Kurva Gaming.

The document goes on to clarify that the reason all of the above information is relevant is because it is background as to why Kurva Gaming lost the official servers. Cookie goes on to allege in the document that Kelpy G, in retaliation for having been criticized as bias in their handling of ban appeals, reported to Northwood Studios management that Cookie failed to act on the 2022 report of grooming. As a result, Cookie alleges that a Northwood Studios representative stated that either Kurva Gaming had to have their official server's revoked or Cookie had to step down as owner of the community. Cookie goes on to state that for a variety of financial circumstances, including one where it's success hinged on Kurva Gaming being seen as a financial asset, they had no choice but to choose the former option.
