This template is used to provide information relating to a file's origin. This can technically be used for any file, though it's more useful for files where 'all 3 available elements are missing from the file itself. Otherwise, simple text (such as Source: [text here]) suffices.

Parameters

Parameter Purpose
author= The author of the material.
source= The source from which the material originated.
rationale= Why the file is being used at all. Use source, logo, or free.
