The scope of the Online Community Wiki is to document the existence, governance, history, and events of specific online gaming organizations and any peripheral entities, organizations, or terms that are directly related to such organizations. All pages produced on this project must be created within this scope.

Criteria for organizations

  1. The organization or community must have existed for at least 12 months and have at least 50 members.
    1. Members" is defined as individuals registered to a website or communications platform (e.g TeamSpeak 3, Discord). Followers or subscribers to social media platforms (e.g Reddit, Twitter, Facebook) do not count towards inclusion.
  2. The organization or community should possess some kind of rank or governmental structure that works to maintain the community's decorum, set standards, and enforce policies (if applicable).
  3. The organization or community must have some presence on the internet that can be retrieved even if the community shuts down.
    1. This is most commonly performed by https://web.archive.org/, but any suitable alternative may suffice.

Criteria for terms

  1. The term must be exclusively used by online communities or have a specific colloquial use if the term has more generic meanings attached (e.g administrator).
