This template is used in accordance with the project's policy on using media as a source and is mandatory when tagging relevant files.
Parameters
Mandatory
auth=
- Determines whether the media is marked as authenticated or not. Usey

- The article name, in plain text, that the media is being used at.date=
- The date authentication was last performed.auther=

Administrator and authenticator instructions
Once auth=
is changed to y
a category is going to be added to the file called [[Category:Media used as a source at {{{article}}}]]
where {{{article}}}
is the article's title in the template.
If the link is red, you will need to create this category page and add the page to the category [[Category:Authenticated media by page]]
. Review Wikipedia:Categorization for information on how to do this. If the link is blue, you are good to go.
